Galvanized Steel Nipple is a pipe fitting that can be used for rebuilding your blast pot.  In particular, if you have a Clemco blast pot with a flat sand valve (just like our Plana II), this part is used as the drop down from the valve to the WYE pipe.  Here’s what that looks like:
