Ball Valves
Ball valves are found in a few key places with abrasive blasters. Let’s start back at the compressor. Most likely, you have one of these valves to turn the air on from the compressor to the pot. At the pot, you most likely have one to allow compressed air into the blast pot. There’s probably another one before your pusher line. You might even have one to decompress the pot as an exhaust valve. Some folks have even used ball valves as rudimentary metering valves.
You’ll also have these valves on things like after coolers or dryers.
