Air Valves & Abrasive Traps
Also called remote control air valves, or aquamatic valves, Air Valves & Abrasive Traps catch small particles of media that can escape your pot during depressurization. Minimize the wear and tear on your exhaust valve by putting an abrasive trap in line before it.
Ball valves are found in a few key places with abrasive blasters. The valves make controlling the flow of media simple and is a good, inexpensive, option for smaller systems/operators.
Pinch valves are an easy and economical way to create a pressure hold system. Combination valves are used on piece instruments designed to control compressed air supply in and out of the blast pot. Be sure to upgrade your exhaust system and/or inlet valves while you’re at it!
