Description

Ball valves are found in a several key places with abrasive blasting.  First, back at the compressor.  Most likely, you have a ball valve to turn the air on from the compressor to the pot.  At the pot, you most likely have a ball valve to allow compressed air into the blast pot; Like an inlet valve.  You might even have one to decompress the pot as an exhaust valve.  Some folks have even used ball valves as rudimentary metering valves.
