Square Head Plug

Square head Plugs are pipe fittings used in many different types of applications, but for sandblasting they are used on ends of pipes, fittings, connectors and tubes. The plug has a 1-1/4” diameter and has a 1-1/4″ MNPT Thread.  Commonly used to fit onto Blast Pot pipe strings , it is also compatible with the 1-1/4” WYE Pipes, Reducing Tees, Galvanized Steel tees or anywhere that compressed air will be supplied. Blasting components that must relieve continuous flow back pressure will use a square head plug.

Constructed out of class 150 galvanized Iron with a 1-1/4” MNPT thread, this plug is very durable. Galvanized Iron has a max pressure rating of 300 psi at 151 degrees and 254 psi at 212 degrees. The part has a max temperature rating of 350 degrees and able to withstand 152 psi at 347 Degrees (We do not recommend using the plug at its maximum temperature limit).
