3/4″ Air Supply Hose for Abrasive Blasting
This is the air supply hose for abrasive blasting setups that run smaller pots. It carries compressed air from your compressor to the blast pot, and works as a pusher line from the pot’s inlet to the metering valve. It’s Continental’s Frontier 200 hose: EPDM rubber rated to 200 PSI, with a tube that tolerates the light oil mist from air tool lubricators.
What Size Air Hose Do You Need for Sandblasting?
The common rule is an air supply hose with an inside diameter three to four times the nozzle orifice. That makes 3/4″ a fit for small pots with up to 3/4″ piping and smaller nozzles. For larger nozzles or long runs, step up to 1″ or bigger — a 3/4″ hose loses far more pressure.
